The Prison Radio Association has been nominated for not one, not two, but FIVE awards at this year’s British Podcast Awards.

The British Podcast Awards is an annual awards ceremony intended to celebrate outstanding content within the British podcast scene, and this year, your favourite little charity has received five nominations across five categories. Below, we talk you through each and every one of them…

Life After Prison explores how people rebuild their lives after prison through honest conversations and practical advice. It gives a voice to lived experience and provides listeners with the information, motivation and inspiration needed to navigate life on the outside.
Education – Hold or Fold
The Education category recognises podcasts that inform, teach, and inspire learning, whether through expert insight, clear explanation, or creative storytelling. It celebrates shows that make knowledge accessible and engaging for listeners of all backgrounds.
Hold or Fold helps people understand gambling addiction by sharing real stories and honest conversations about its impact on lives, families, and crime. It makes a complex issue easier to grasp, while offering support and hope through lived experience and expert advice.

The 2025 British Podcast Awards ceremony will be held on Thursday, 2 October 2025. We will be there suited, booted and ready to rep prison-made podcasts with pride, heart and a lot of volume.
