We’re a charity, which means we rely on people like you to keep our radio and podcasts on air. Through the power of audio, we help people affected by prison find hope, community, support and opportunities. Your donation helps people in prisons across England and Wales build brighter futures beyond the bars for themselves and their families.
You have changed my outlook on life and given me positivity and confidence for when I get out of prison. Your radio and podcasts have inspired me to change and be a better person.
– National Prison Radio listener, HMP Feltham
Because support only works
if people can access it.

National Prison Radio and our podcasts make support genuinely accessible to people in prison and beyond, offering trusted voices, information and hope in prison cells, 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Around 85,000 people are in prison across England and Wales today, many facing isolation, low literacy and limited access to support.
Our work uses National Prison Radio and podcasts to open the door to rehabilitation, confidence, connection and hope – helping people prepare for life beyond prison and build brighter futures for themselves and their families.
