Podcast presenter callout!

We are looking for a brilliant host to front our exciting new podcast series!

The podcast series will be specially produced for people who have spent time in prison or whose lives have been affected by the criminal justice system.

National Prison Radio gives people a sense of community and support while they are serving time in prison, and our new podcast series will continue to do that for people when they leave prison.

This brand-new podcast series will offer advice, inspiration, information and entertainment to people who have come out of prison and are looking to get their lives back on track on the outside.

We are looking for a host for the series who:

This is a paid opportunity. It will be a salaried role on a part time basis.

If you think this could be you and you would like to apply, please send us a short selfie video of no more than 3 minutes, telling us a bit about you and why you’d make a great presenter:

When sending your video, please make sure you email us your name and a contact phone number where we can get hold of you.

Please email your video to us at no later than Friday 11 February.

If you are not able to send us a video or don’t feel comfortable doing so, but would like to express an interest, please email us at and tell us why you’d like to be considered for this fantastic opportunity.

As part of the recruitment process for this role, we will show your video clips to some audience research groups – both in prison and with former prisoners – who will help us make our decision. This process will take several weeks after which we will get in touch with you to let you know if you have been successful and what the next steps will be.

In line with our company Data Retention Schedule, we keep applications up to one year after notifying candidates of the outcome of the recruitment exercise after which time they will be securely destroyed. If for any reason we need to keep your recruitment data on record for longer than specified, you will be notified. For more information, please see our Recruitment Privacy Notice here.
